Connie Schoo is the Office Manager for Medical Billing Specialists. She has over 30 years in the medical field. Prior to accepting her position with MBS, she managed a mental health practice for seven years and worked fourteen years in both the front and back offices of a pediatric office. She also has billing experience in anesthesia, neurology, intraoperative monitoring, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology, and durable medical equipment. She is a member of AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) as well as AAHAM (American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management). Her extensive experience and knowledge of how a medical office functions from top to bottom gives her the ability to understand the importance of proper coding, billing and medical compliance.

I am a stickler for accurate accounting, aggressive appeals, and prompt customer service. I have a high regard for physicians and I am aggressive in obtaining the maximum reimbursements that are rightfully due to them. At the same time, I am sensitive to the needs of patients and treat them with the respect they deserve."
Gail Wells
Gail Wells has been a medical biller for over 12 years. She began her career providing insurance billing, coding and collections for family practices. She rapidly advanced from billing manager, administrative assistant, to office manager throughout her career. Gail specializes in neurology, neurosurgery and intraoperative billing for MBS. She is a member of American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and is active in her local chapter.

Laurie Jozwiak
Laurie Jozwiak started her medical billing career in 1988 working for various types of doctors, including but not limited to pathology, oncology, and a workers compensation clinic. Back in 1997 she decided to become a domestic home engineer and raise her children. Just recently Laurie decided to return back in to the work force as a medical billing specialist. In 2010 she graduated from Apollo College in Medical Billing and Coding with a GPA of 4.00 and was on the Deans List for multiple terms. She has billing experience which included’s physical therapy, neurology, ophthalmology and family practice accounts.

Trina Keith
Trina Keith is a Certified Medical Assistant who has been in the medical field for 17 years. She has worked all aspects of a medical office. She began her career in the back office, and then moved into medical office administration and management. Her passion has always been in medical billing, because she enjoys working with numbers. She has billed for various specialties such as; ophthalmology, retina, urology, dermatology and intraoperative monitoring. Her vast knowledge of how a medical office functions from front to back allows her to be successful in medical billing, because she understands the medical aspect and terminology of the procedures.
"My top priority is to obtain the maximum reimbursement due to a provider. I am always willing to fight for the provider. I believe that a doctor should provide medical care, and shouldn’t have to worry about their billing. I take pride in my work and will always go the extra mile to ensure that the needs of my providers are met."
Jeff Conti
Jeff Conti is the Executive Director of Medical Billing Specialists, LLC. and provides oversight of all general business activities, primarily utilizing his experience in financial management, team development and growth strategy initiatives. Jeff is a genuine entrepreneur and businessman having started his first pioneering company while still in high school. Once honored by the SBA as Young Entrepreneur of the Year, he has matured into a time tested small business expert with experience in all areas of the private sector; retail, manufacturing and of course the service industry. Jeff is a member of the INnovation Society, TIES, and the Entrepreneurship Academy, and works regularly with the SBA, SBDC and SCORE.
